about us

Ethan Glaser, affectionately known as "E" by his closest friends, is the son of Debbie and Chad Glaser of East Amherst, N.Y. Ethan was born with a rare liver disease, Biliary Atresia. On June 6, 2003, Chad was honored to be a live liver donor for his son's transplant, and gave Ethan the ultimate gift, The Gift of Life!

In March, 2007 the Glaser’s started off on their venture to raise money and awareness for critically ill children with liver disease all around the country. This is truly a home grown Buffalo, N.Y. foundation. Chad & Debbie along with their closest friends raised $20,000.00 at the first ever Ski4e event. In 2008 Ski4e raised over twice this amount, and to date this organization has raised over $100,000.00 to support research and children in need of a liver transplant.

On February 27th & 28th, 2010, Ski4e will hold its fourth annual fundraising weekend. On Saturday February 27th “Party for the Cure” will be held at the Westwood Country Club, and Sunday March 8th we will ski at The Buffalo Ski Club in Colden NY. Funds raised will be donated to COTA (Children’s Organ Transplant Association), Biliary Atresia Fund for the Cure through the American Liver Foundation, and Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York- Presbyterian Center for Liver Disease.
